Social Research
The Department of Social Studies and Research is vested with the authority to promote opportunities for social development based on scientific knowledge and applied research. The department also achieves the mission and goals of Doha-based foundations through the clear measurement of scientific indicators.
Targets for the year 2010-2011:
- Completion of the final report of the prisoners and their training programs.
- Completion of the research plan on the needs of the domestic job market and professions during the next five years.
- Participate in the first Conference of the Survey Research, organized by Qatar University. The research paper entitled, "The proposed value choices of Arab students studying in the various subsidiaries of American University in Qatar".
- Develop and improve researchers skills and abilities.
