The Services and Social Studies Management endeavors to realize SDC goals by taking care of low-income families in the community through a deliberate social and economical study. In accordance with this study, each individual of working age will be enrolled in qualifying and training programs, depending on their abilities and capabilities, by the concerned management, to provide work opportunities in the center's developmental projects or in other establishments.
The SDC works to encourage the self-initiatives of the individual, including youth and women, to build economically and socially stable families that can take part in the country's social development. On the other hand, the Services and Social Studies Management monitors and studies negative social phenomena and their effects on the family and community.
Finding and developing joint cooperation agreements with the Qatar-based competent societies and organizations, and developing the efficiency of the social workers so as to provide better services to the community.
The Department is divided into two divisions.
This division is based on the principle of supporting the families exposed to social and economic challenges that can threaten their integrity and stability. The support is run under a deliberate social study conducted by specialists in the social field.
The practical and field studies are the most important social monitoring means of developing a database on which the center can depend to determine the community needs precisely, with collaboration from competent expertise from inside and outside Qatar, and international and regional organizations. The database was developed as the result of the efforts of the Social Services department.
